FLUVIS (ФЛУВИС) is an antifriction composite based on fluoroplast-4 and modified carbon fibers. The material is remarkable for its chemical resistance, high thermal stability, low friction coefficient, high wear resistance, good sealing properties. It is intended for the increase of service life of friction units: sealing elements of compressor and pump equipment, friction-type bearings, stop ball valves e t.c. It can be used in air and liquid media, dry gases and vacuum in the temperature range from - 120 to + 260 °С. The material is essential for operation in extreme conditions: aggressive liquids and gases, high temperatures and pressures; it does not cause body (cylinder/rod) wear in case of operation in friction units without lubrication. Fluvis is chemically inert and suitable for use in food industry. It is superior to domestic (Flubon) and foreign (Garlock, SРL) equivalents.

The preferred billet height is not more than 80 mm. We are ready to consider manufacturing of billets of Fluvis having other nominal dimensions, as close to part dimensions as practicable; we can also produce various dimensionally accurate articles of fluoroplast according to customer’s drawings.

BILLETS MADE OF Ф-4ГР COMPOSITIONS Billets of fluoroplast-4 containing flexible graphite (the percent of graphite content ranges from 10% to 25%) are intended for manufacturing of various antifriction parts from them (friction-type bearings, lip-type seals e t. c.) operating in the temperature range from – 60 to + 260 °С by means of machining.
